Frequently Asked Questions About AurCore

Frequently Asked Questions

For products with quality problems or non-human-induced failures within the warranty period, you can submit an RMA application through our authorized partners. After the application is reviewed and approved, we will provide free repair or replacement services. For DOA (Dead on Arrival) products, we provide a 7-day fast replacement service. Class D strategic customers can enjoy the expedited RMA channel with advance replacement to minimize service downtime.

Yes. We provide customized POC testing services for customers with clear project requirements, including test solution design, test equipment provision, on-site/remote technical guidance, and final test report output. For Class C and above customers, we will assign a dedicated technical project manager to follow up the full POC process. The POC cycle and cost are subject to the project scale and test requirements, and free POC is available for qualified strategic projects.

For standard mainstream models, we have sufficient inventory in global warehouses, and the delivery cycle is within 7-9 working days after the order is confirmed. For specific models and large-batch project orders, we will confirm the specific delivery cycle with you according to the order quantity and requirements, and arrange production and delivery strictly according to the contract agreement to ensure the progress of your project.

You can obtain a formal, project-specific quotation through our authorized partners or local AurCore sales team. We provide tiered pricing and volume-based discounts according to order quantity, project scale, and customer grade. Class C and Class D customers, as well as strategic bidding projects, can apply for exclusive special price approval through the corresponding support channel.

Yes. AurCore's professional service team and certified partners provide end-to-end full-cycle services, including pre-sales network demand assessment, solution design, product selection guidance, as well as post-sales on-site deployment, device configuration, joint debugging, acceptance testing and operation and maintenance training. For large-scale data center, smart city and industrial park projects, we can also provide customized solution design and on-site project management services to ensure the smooth delivery of your network infrastructure.

When selecting an AurCore switch, we recommend that you consider the following core factors based on your actual scenario:

• Scenario Positioning: Data center, enterprise campus or industrial environment;

• Port Requirements: Port quantity, rate (1G/10G/25G/100G/400G), fiber/copper port type, PoE power supply demand;

• Performance Requirements: Switching capacity, forwarding rate, latency, buffer size for AI and large traffic scenarios;

• Function Requirements: Support for VXLAN, EVPN, ERPS, RoCEv2, security features and management functions;

• Scalability: Future capacity expansion needs, stackable/clusterable capabilities;

• Environmental Requirements: Operating temperature, protection level, installation method for industrial scenarios.

Yes. AurCore switches adopt a variety of energy-saving designs, including intelligent port dormancy, adaptive power adjustment, fan speed intelligent control (for fan-equipped models), and energy-efficient chip solutions.

AurCore switches provide comprehensive QoS capabilities, supporting traffic classification based on 802.1p, DSCP, IP precedence, port and application type. It supports congestion management mechanisms, ensuring that key services such as voice, video, industrial control and AI computing traffic are prioritized for forwarding, even in network congestion scenarios.

Yes. All AurCore switches support Zero Touch Provisioning (ZTP) function. For batch deployment of data center switches, administrators only need to pre-configure the firmware version and configuration file on the server, and the devices can automatically obtain the configuration, upgrade the firmware and complete the service deployment after being powered on and connected to the network, which greatly reduces the on-site configuration workload and human error, and improves the efficiency of large-scale project delivery.

ERPS (Ethernet Ring Protection Switching) is an ITU-T industry standard protocol for ring network redundancy. AurCore industrial switches implement standard ERPS, achieving sub-20ms fast failover when a link or device fails, ensuring zero service interruption for mission-critical industrial control systems. Compared with traditional STP/RSTP protocols, ERPS has shorter convergence time, more stable switching performance, and is more suitable for harsh industrial scenarios such as power grids, intelligent transportation, factory automation and mining.

AurCore's spine-leaf architecture adopts a non-blocking Clos design, which shortens the traffic forwarding path between servers, fundamentally solving the bandwidth bottleneck of traditional three-tier architecture. It supports linear capacity expansion of ports and bandwidth, and is optimized for east-west traffic of AI and distributed applications, with features such as ECMP load balancing and dynamic traffic scheduling, ensuring stable low-latency forwarding even under full-load traffic of large-scale GPU clusters.

RoCEv2 (RDMA over Converged Ethernet Version 2) is an industry-standard protocol that enables direct memory access between servers and GPU devices over Ethernet, bypassing the CPU operating system kernel. AurCore data center switches optimize RoCEv2 traffic through ECN explicit congestion notification, PFC priority flow control and intelligent traffic scheduling, delivering sub-microsecond latency and zero packet loss, which is critical for accelerating distributed AI training, inference and HPC high-performance computing workloads.

AurCore is committed to providing long-term product support for customers. For products entering the end-of-life cycle, we will release an official EOL notification at least 12 months in advance, and provide firmware maintenance and technical support for at least 5 years after the product stops selling, ensuring that customers have sufficient time for product replacement and migration, and protecting the long-term investment of customers.

Yes. AurCore has a complete technical training and certification system, including entry-level product operation training, intermediate configuration and maintenance training, and advanced solution design training for partners and end customers. We also provide on-site training, online courses and certification exams, and issue corresponding certificates to qualified personnel, helping customers and partners improve their technical capabilities in network operation and maintenance.

All AurCore switch products come with a standard 3-year limited hardware warranty from the date of delivery, covering hardware defects and failures under normal use. During the warranty period, we provide free repair, replacement and remote technical support. Customers can also purchase extended warranty services and advanced services such as spare parts replacement (spare parts in advance) to further improve the service guarantee.

All the latest firmware releases, user manuals, configuration guides, hardware installation guides, technical white papers and troubleshooting documents are available for free download in the Support & Resource portal of AurCore official website. Registered customers and partners can log in to get all resources, and we also regularly push firmware update notifications and technical bulletins to registered users.

You can submit a demo/evaluation request through the "Contact Us" page, or directly contact our local sales team and authorized partners. After confirming your project requirements and qualification, we will provide demo equipment, remote test environment, and professional technical support to help you fully verify the performance and functions of AurCore switches before purchase.

AurCore product have passed CE, FCC, ETL certifications and NDAA, TAA compliance. Industrial models have also passed the special certification for power grid, transportation and other key infrastructure industries, fully meeting the compliance requirements of relevant customers.

AurCore provides long-term firmware maintenance for all switch models. We ensure forward and backward compatibility of mainstream features within the same product series, and release regular firmware updates for feature optimization, bug fixes and security vulnerability patching. The upgrade process supports one-click operation, with zero impact on services for hot-patch upgrades.

All AurCore switches run the self-developed AURC-NOS, a modular network operating system built for modern networks. It integrates intelligent automation, lossless traffic optimization, end-to-end security and unified visualized O&M capabilities.Certain data center switch models support open networking such as SONiC, enabling flexible software deployment and automation.
